Music in the Schools Partnership

The BMC’s Music in the Schools Partnership, works in collaboration with area schools, to offer children access to enhanced music experiences beyond what is typically available in their school curriculum.

Each year students are given the opportunity to take part in instrumental instruction in their schools, participate in the Tigers and Youth String Ensembles, and attend a special Children’s Orchestra Concert.

During the 2025-26 academic year, the BMC partners with Windham Southeast School District to provide free group string instruction in violin, viola, cello (2 levels), grades three through 6. Home-schooled students are welcome to participate.
