August 11 — Fischer-Dieskau sings Schubert
The wonderful baritone Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau recorded all of Schubert’s songs, over 600 of them! We will listen to a handful of these gems with text, and also view some of his live performances with various pianists, including Sviatoslov Richter.
