Juno Orchestra: Juno in June

Juno Orchestra presents Juno in June! Sunday, June 8, at 2:30 p.m. at Persons Auditorium, Potash Hill. Works will include Bach’s Overture No 1, C Major, BWV 1066, Haydn’s Symphony 49, La Passione, and Mozart’s Symphony 29 in A Major, K. 201.

Juno Orchestra Music Director Zon Eastes says, “I’m eager to present these compelling works to our audience. I find that these three pieces share remarkable powers. Listeners will be invited to engage with joy, directness, ferocity, love, depth, and more.”

Eastes goes on to say, “It is a complete honor for me to work with the players of Juno Orchestra. The group is made up of such fine musicians, and together, they have located a central joy and trust, qualities that seem so important in today’s world.”
