Juicebox Quartet: Free Concert for Kids and Parents
On Saturday, April 5, we host a free afternoon performance by the Vermont Symphony Orchestra for kids and their parents.
The “Juicebox Concert” set for 3 p.m. is designed to allow both children ages 10 and under and their parents to explore how feelings and music go together. The VSO’s Jukebox String Quartet will transform into the Juicebox String Quartet, and offer interactive spots for the audience, music set to “The Feelings Book” by New York Times best-selling author Todd Parr, some musical jokes, and (most importantly) dedicated wiggle-and-dance time for the little ones.
Matt LaRocca will serve as curator and host for this event. Featured performers are Brooke Quiggins-Saulnier and Joana Genova, violin; Stefanie Taylor, viola; and John Dunlop, cello.
