Chamber Series: Sō Percussion

For 25 years, Grammy-winning quartet Sō Percussion has redefined chamber music for the 21st century through an “exhilarating blend of precision and anarchy, rigor and bedlam” (The New Yorker).

The concert at the BMC is set for 7 p.m. Tickets are $30 general admission and are available through the BMC website – bmcvt.org – or by calling 802-257-4523. For more information, call the BMC or email info@bmcvt.org.

Sō Percussion is celebrated by audiences and presenters for a dazzling range of work and performances in which “telepathic powers of communication” (The New York Times) bring to life vibrant percussion repertoire.

Jason Treuting, Adam Sliwinski, Josh Quillen, and Eric Cha-Beach offer an extravagant array of collaborations in classical music, pop, indie rock, contemporary dance, and theater. They are also known for their work in education and community, creating opportunities and platforms for music and artists that explore the immense possibility of art in our time.

The BMC thanks Guilford Sound for sponsoring Sō Percussion.
