BMC Partners with Scott Farm for Brattleboro Concert Choir Crêpe Night Fundraiser

Love local music and stunning views?  Love good food? Join the Brattleboro Music Center at Scott Farm for a summer Crêpe Night Wednesday, August 14 to support the Brattleboro Concert Choir.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m., at Scott Farm, 707 Kipling Rd, Dummerston, VT. Outdoor and indoor tables and chairs are provided as well as a sprawling grassy hillside ripe for picnic blankets, folding lawn chairs, and bare feet. Tickets are $20 for adults, or $10 for children under 12. Each ticket comes with a savory supper crêpe (galette), sweet dessert crêpe, and side salad with drinks available for purchase. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the Brattleboro Concert Choir.

Enjoy your crêpes to the sounds of Midnight Betty, featuring BCC members Chelle Martinez and Oriana Barros. These talented multi-instrumentalist singers will accompany your dinner with shimmering harmonies as they serenade you with folk, country, Broadway, pop and other favorite melodies.

The Concert Choir, a program of the BMC, includes singers from across the region who come together to perform exciting and challenging repertoire, ranging from classic choral masterpieces to rarely heard and newly commissioned works.

The Choir performs twice a year, in January and May, often with professional orchestra and soloists. The 2024-25 concert season will include a program of dance-centered music at the Latchis Theater January 18-19, 2025, and the world premiere of a newly commissioned major work with orchestra by local composer Keane Southard at Persons Auditorium May 17-18, 2025.
