Auditions for the BMC Madrigal Singers, under the direction of Doug Frank, will be held for singers interested in joining an adult 12-voice a cappella vocal ensemble.

Douglas Frank was trained as a conductor and vocalist at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. He founded and directed the Oberlin Madrigal Singers while a student there. He continued his conducting studies with Harold Aks, Daniel Moe, Robert Shaw and William Weinert. He was the founder and conductor of the Douglas Frank Chorale, an ensemble of professional singers in New York City. The Chorale’s recording of “The A Cappella Singer” won the Contemporary A Cappella Recording Award for Best Classical Album in 2001.
