Endowment Fund
In 2007, the Trustees of the Brattleboro Music Center established the Blanche Moyse Endowment Fund as a tribute in perpetuity to our founder and the tremendous influence she had on our musical community. Establishing an endowment for the BMC continues to be a key component of our Capital Campaign. The initial goal was to raise $1 million.
Thanks to the generous financial commitments of many loyal supporters, this permanent investment fund is now valued at more than $1.3 million and is providing a steady stream of income each year. The BMC is able to offer more scholarships and expand its program offerings without dipping into its annual operating budget.
We welcome additional gifts to the Blanche Moyse Endowment Fund as well as contributions for two new endowed funds being established as part of our Make a Place for Music campaign:
- One is a building fund that will ensure the future maintenance of the BMC’s new campus.
- The other fund will provide for the care of our collection of instruments, now and in the future.
A gift designated for one or more of these endowed funds will not only qualify you as a donor to our capital campaign but also help to ensure a strong and sustainable future for the BMC.
