New BMC Team Member Wanted!
We’re in search of an office/Music School support staff member. The position is 30 hours a week and includes the following: Phone coverage – answering/distributing, answering machine messages; basic correspondence – donation letters; processing mail; basic data entry and data cleanup; Constant Contact support (data dumps in both directions); filing; assisting with event support (scheduling/logistics/checklists); assisting with room setup (ability to move chairs, music stands, folding tables); taking payments, registering students; and coordinating maintenance of in-house board files.
The ideal candidate should have experience with Microsoft office: Word, Excel – demonstrated knowledge of proper formatting, simple formulas and sorting techniques; databases; experience with handling confidential information; and the ability to work occasional evenings or weekend events. Also desirable are familiarity with Google Docs, Constant Contact or similar, and prior experience in an arts organization.
