Advanced Youth Dance Band is a new group for students who already have a good repertoire of folk tunes and confidence playing by ear. Facilitated to be student-led, we will play tunes that students bring to the group, along with harmonies written by Laurel (or any students who want to create them!). We will learn how to create arrangements, and build great grooves that make people want to dance! This group will put together sets of tunes, then go out into the world and play for dances! All instruments welcome (including guitar, brass and wind).
