Get Real Getaway
Overnight Singing Camp for Girls 15-18
GET REAL Getaway is an intensive nine-day workshop for girls age 15-18 who loves to sing. Enrollment is limited to 12 participants.
The workshop includes:
- One private lesson
- Three coachings on a piece of music
- Sight-reading and ear training
- Instruction in vocal health
- Improvisational singing
- Listening to vocal music and addressing performance practices of the past and present
- Choral singing
- Instruction in classical, as well as contemporary and belt vocal tecniques
- Instruction in auditioning and coping with nerves
On Saturday evening, the nine-day workshop will culminate in a special performance during which each of the participants will sing a solo and several pieces will be sung in chorus. Family and friends are invited to join us as we celebrate the participants’ accomplishments and enjoy the performance.
